Pickuuu is such a lovely girls, we had a blast with her!
Absolutely recommended!
A highlight in Shanghai was our guided bike tour with Daniel and Ellie (we did the local tour). Daniel gave us insights into Chinese life, we came into contact with Chinese people in the park, and at the end there was good Shanghainese food.
Recommendation
Had a very nice bike tour with Daniel and Elly. Very relaxed and lots of info via the guide. Had a delicious smoothie and lunch.
A must do experience to see the hidden Shanghai.
Thank you so much for stepping in when my booking could not be fulfilled by Baja Bikes. I really appreciate you finding a guide at the last minute and I really loved the tour. It was quite warm but the pace created its own breeze and the leafy streets afforded a lot of shade. I really enjoyed seeing the regular tourist spots as well as a few hidden gems. My guide, Celine was very knowledgeable, kind and patient and her English was perfect. Thank you so much. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to my friends and fellow travellers.
Safe, quiet and customised on the spot
We (Dutch family from Amsterdam) just had a lovely bike tour in Shanghai... There are cycling lanes everywhere, so it felt very safe. We could easily avoid the crowds and visit less crowded places... Thank you Celine for customising the tour on the spot! We all enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended!
Shanghai at street level
I recently took the Shanghai Highlight tour on a short stopover in Shanghai. I was looking for something authentic that involved some outdoor exercise too. The booking process was easy and confirmation shortly followed with detailed instructions on where and when to meet. My tour was guided by Tina, who was excellent. After a short orientation to the bike and a run-through of some safety information, it was time to hit the road. I am no stranger to riding a bike, but I was unsure how I would manage on the busy streets of Shanghai. Luckily, most of the roads we rode had dedicated bike lanes and with each pedal my confidence grew and I felt like a local as we rode alongside the real locals going about their daily life. Some highlights that stick out were the French Concession, longtangs, local food markets, hidden buddhist temple and the Yu Yuan area. This tour is for someone who doesn't want to experience Shanghai from the top of a red tourist bus only.
